About the Role
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a newly renovated clinic space. Clinicians have the ability to work in
clinic, in client’s homes and online. Flexibility to set your own hours and ability to grow a part-time/full time
caseload. Competitive compensation with percentage based income and marketing of contractor’s services.
Referrals from professionals within the practice and ability to market and generate own referrals. Use of JANE
online booking system, administrative support, and billing services.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Complete assessments, create client-centered goals, and provide treatment. Ability to provide subsequent service referrals/recommendations, as appropriate.
- Promote skills in areas such as self-regulation, written output, fine motor skills, emotional regulation, sensory processing and activities of daily living.
- Providing ongoing support and education to parents/guardians of clients.
Requirements
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program
Licensed to practice under the Alberta College of Occupational Therapists
Previous experience in screening, assessing and supporting clients children and/or youth
Excellent consultative and communication skills. Ability to build strong rapport with families.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Criminal record check and professional liability insurance.
